Some of the most popular subdivisions in Arcadia Lite are Arcadia Heights, Brentwood Estates, and Sharondale.
Each has its own unique feel and style. All are getting their fair share of gentrification. Each has something that the other doesn’t.
For example, Arcadia Heights is a townhome community with floor plans that are at or approaching 4,000 square feet.
Sharondale and Brentwood are older home neighborhoods where the homes were built in ranch style on generous home sites.

Where to Eat in Arcadia Lite
One of the big reasons that Arcadia Lite has become a Valley favorite is the restaurant culture. The options are really good. Here are a few that top my list and a few other Yelpers out there too.
Tarbell’s
For me there’s nothing better than Tarbell’s for dinner & cocktails.
The food is beautiful, and the drinks are made with a hearty pour.
Don’t skip the appetizers. I like the happy hour. Meeting for a drink at the bar comes with stellar service and food options that outclass other happy hours.
Located on the south-east corner of 32nd Street & Camelback Rd. Phone: (602) 955-8100.
Helton Brewing Company
Helton Brewing Co has me coming back over and over again.
It’s great to have a local brewing company who does it right.
If you’re like me you’ll want to bring in your growler so they can fill it with your favorite Helton creation.
Mine’s the IPA.
Bertha’s Cafe & Bakery
Bertha’s has a fabulous lunch menu.
Sannys, soups, and salads are out of this world delicious.
The desserts are better than your mom made.
Never, never, never leave Bertha’s without having dessert.
That’s a direct order 😋
And that goes double for bringing it home.
Better not walk in the door and talk about that desert without sharing some of the goodness.
Arcadia Lite Fitness Options
There are quite a smattering of options to select from when it comes to getting your daily calorie burn in when residing in Arcadia Lite. Too many to list here. A few that make the top of my list are as noted below.
Quartz Ridge Trail
Quartz Ridge Trail is located at 32nd and Lincoln Drive. So about a mile north of Arcadia Lite. The trail system is really great. Why? Access for one. It’s so easy to get to.
The experience is something special on these trails too. You can opt for a beginners trail that has little to no elevation changes. It’s almost like cheating.
There is a nice rugged trail up the backside of Piestewa Peak to.
Lots of fitness geeks can be seen flying up and down the mountain at all times of the day.
Some make a couple of timed round trips in one outing.
They do that just to show me how out of shape I am. Give Quartz Ridge Trail a try; it’s beautiful, close by, and not as difficult to hike as I make it sound.
The Madison Improvement Club
The Madison Improvement Club is for the spinner in you. Ever tried spinning?
No, not turning around and around until you fall on the floor spinning.
Not that kind at all.
Spinning as in stationary bike spinning.
There’s a spinning coach too.
It’s typically a woman who looks like she has never done anything else in her life but ride a bike.
They really push you. It’s a great way to exercise and this place has a reputation for that.
They also have a healthy little restaurant in there so you can chow down on something good for you when you’re done.
The Improvement Club is cool, clean, and nicely located at 38th & Indian School. Their phone number is 1-602-296-7118.
Metta Yoga
Metta Yoga is one of the yoga joints that have sprung up over recent years.
It is well run, popular and has great online reviews.
Give them a try if you are seeking yoga in Arcadia Lite.
