Sacks knows sannies like Bo knows Diddly😋. Making a great sandwich might sound like a relatively simple and straightforward idea to many. However, making a great sandwich is sort of a science; balancing out the various flavors of the fillings, determining which sauces to use and in which amounts, the best type of bread to use, etc means that sandwich making is all very serious work.
🌍 Sacks Arcadia Lite Location
No one understands the art of sandwich making in Arcadia Lite more than Sacks does. Located at 4247 E Indian School Road Sacks is prominent and visible when driving by. It’s on the south side of the street in the street level of a quaint two-story retail building.
🤳 Order Your Sannies Smart
However, a testament to how amazing the sandwiches are is the throngs of people walking in and leaving the restaurant doors. The parking lot here is often full, so if you are planning on indulging on a well-made sandwich, it is generally a good idea to arrive early so as to avoid queues or the wait time that comes with them. If you can, you can also order ahead of time, which is typically advised by the restaurant.
You can also use my little trick. I don’t go at straight up noon. Instead, I always like to head over at 11:30. Parking, ordering, and getting your food quickly all seems to go better with that little 1/2 hour adjustment.
When you walk in, the art-themed list of sandwiches on the wall will probably be the first thing that catches your eye. The sandwiches are named after artists of the impressionist era.
For instance, the Van Gogh is made with roast or prime rare beef while the Dali is made with egg salad and bacon. Some of the other offerings on hand at Sacks Arcadia include the Picasso meatball sub, the O’Keefe grilled chicken and mushroom baguette, and an Improv, which consists of turkey stuffing and cranberry.
🙋 Have it Your Way at Sacks
If you prefer not to have meat included in yours, you can also go for a vegetarian version. All the ingredients and the cheeses used are of the highest quality and always fresh. The best thing about a Sacks Arcadia sandwich is the fact that the sandwiches remain intact and do not ever fall apart. Sachs seems to have found a way to craft the perfect proportion of ingredients, which is always good when you do not have to deal with a mess after eating.
The sandwiches are also quite affordable and are even better than some of the others you may be used to at neighborhood coffee shops. All the sandwiches go for less than $7 and you can add a side and a beverage of your choosing for a grand total that is just under $ 10. This, the great casual setting and the quick and friendly staff is enough to keep you going over and over.
