Keegan’s Grill is a neighborhood gem that has all the characteristic elements of a classic American neighborhood café or restaurant. Aside from a great dining atmosphere, Keegan’s Grill, situated on Camelback Road and 32nd Street also has the winning combination required for all successful restaurants; excellent customer service, great food, and large portions.
🏬 Keegan’s – then and now
Although it is impossible to tell from the restaurant’s exterior, Keegan’s Grill has actually been an Arcadia Lite Camelback institution since it was established more than 25 years ago.
It is now owned by Ramsey Clark and two other co-owners John Coppetelli and Mellisa Wheeler.
Many of the original components have remained the same since former owner Don Weissmueller’s retirement.
Perhaps it helps that the three current owners were once employees at Keegan’s Grill themselves.
🍸 Arcadia Lite Happy Hour
The happy hour specials on offer include $ 5.00 margaritas, as well as a $1.00 discount on select wines and craft beers. The food during happy hour is also quite affordable. In fact, the prices range between $ 4.00 and $ 7.50 on the social hour food menu.
When you’re thirsty and an ice tea just won’t do, come on over to Arcadia Lite’s longtime regular drinking hole.
The menu at Keegan’s Grill is extensive and includes a variety of dishes. There’s something for the tummy on any budget. The menu includes American favorites such as steak, gourmet burgers, pastas, specialty sandwiches, as well as an assortment of entrees. Everything that is served at Keegan’s Grill is simple yet so tasteful. For instance, the barbecue baby back ribs served with green chile mac and cheese sounds ridiculously simple. It is, but you will be surprised by how devilishly flavorful it is.
However, if you have never been to Keegan’s Grill before, Keegan’s filet mignon is a must try. It comes extremely well seasoned and crusted and if you specify, they will serve it alongside tasty bleu cheese that will help to tie all the wonderful flavors together. Anyone that loves meat should also take note of the grilled flatiron steak, which is served with Maitre’ D’ Butter.
🍹 Local Drinking Joint
The beers available include Easy Street Wheat, Scrimshaw Pilsner, Moose Drool Brown Ale, a delicious IPA that has reduced gluten, Kilt Lifter Scottish Ale, and so much more.
They switch the brews out frequently to keep those hops hoppin on your taste buds.
Keegan’s Grill makes sure to source its beers on tap from local Phoenix brewers such as Big Sky Brewing, North Coast Brewing, and Four Peaks among many others.
If you love a cold beer on draft you’ll like the way it comes out at Keegan’s bar on Camelback. Make sure to Uber your way home if you’ve had too many.
