If you ever find yourself in the swanky Camelback area and are looking for a burger done right, look no further than Delux located at 32nd Street & Camelback Rd. The beef used for the Delux burgers is of the finest quality, the fries are heavenly, and the beer selection is out of this world. This, and the excellent service, as well as the affordable prices, are all elements that have helped Delux to become one of the most popular spots in the Camelback food corridor.
🌜 Late Night Dining
Delux is very trendy and it has received a number of awards for its gourmet burgers and its ever-expanding sushi menu.
This popular eaterie is all the rage with the night crowd, probably because of the fast service and the availability of close to 40 international beers on tap.
Some of the beers available include San Diego’s Alesmith Horny Devil, Denver’s Flying Dog in Heat Wheat, Boulder’s Avery White Rascal, Belgium’s Tripel Karmeliet and so much more.
Delux also has a suave ambiance that rivals most of the other restaurants and spots located close by.
The interior is as unique as the burgers on offer. Deluxe has 2 dining rooms that each has its own bar and a patio. The side of the restaurant that handles all the grilling is centered on a bar style table while the other side of the dining area, mainly serves sushi. The interior also features blue lighting that helps to make the atmosphere casual. This type of lighting is perfect for diners, many of whom take advantage of Delux’s reverse happy hour after the sun sets.
The sliders available are large enough that they can be enjoyed as single meals or they can be shared as appetizers. Order your appetizers with the restaurant’s signature aioli as a dip or the bruschetta plate that goes for an affordable 5 dollars. The toasted demi-baguette is a guaranteed hit.
🍣 Sushi, Really? Yeah, Really!
I know. I know, hamburgers and sushi just doesn’t make sense. Then you have to consider the source and it all comes into focus. Remember, Lenny Rosenberg owned Zen 32. Zen was the long time corner restaurant in the plaza. Everyone loved it. Why? Because Lenny knows that flying in top quality fish was the key. He is right about that. The sushi at Delux has not tapered off a bit from the days of Zen. Belly up to the sushi bar and enjoy some of the very best in the valley.
All the sushi plates and rolls served here are made by the chefs at Zen 32. Some of the most popular options with late-night revelers include the Spicy Tuna Roll, the Samba Roll and the California Roll which are all very reasonably priced.
🍔 Delux Signature Burger
Delux’s signature Burger is definitely a must try. It is made from fresh ground beef that is acquired from grain-fed and hormone free cows.
The high-quality Niman Ranch beef that is used is infused with Maytag Blue and Gruyère cheeses before being dressed with arugula, bacon, and caramelized onions that are wedged between slices of a baguette.
The food at Delux is simply irresistible but it can be considered to be slightly on the higher side for a happy hour establishment. However, the meals on offer are worth the pricey price tag.
