Update (29 Sept 2022) Zillow lost a BILLION BUCKS relying on their Zestimate as an iBuyer. They tucked their tail between their legs and sold their properties. Many were sold with steep losses. I even bought one of them and then fixed it up and flipped it myself. This update is here to encourage you to not lean on a Zestimate when it comes to valuing your home. I might flip my house. It’s a thought we’ve all had. They make it look so easy on those shows. In reality, we all know that to “flip my house” it is not as easy as the house flipping teams on TV make it look. Still, we think about it.
