Helton Brewing Company opened its doors in the spring of 2016 but it has grown in popularity in Arcadia Lite and the Central Phoenix area ever since. Helton is situated down Indian Road towards 22nd Street. The building that houses the brewery is hard to miss; the large black sign with a huge yellow H on it should notify you that you are in the right place.

Brian Helton the Founder and brewmaster, racked up a reputation for himself in the beer circles, as a well-respected cicerone (the equivalent of a sommelier) as he has spent the better part of 19 years dealing with all things beer.

He won a number of prestigious awards. Including the Great American Beer Festival Awards. Arizonans’ love for beer has been growing steadily in the past few years.

More than 80 craft breweries have been opened in the region so far, and the number is expected to continue rising as people continue to familiarize themselves with the craft beer movement. Anyone who has had a Helton IPA knows that Brian has come about as close to beer perfection as possible. Come on in and enjoy a cold frosty and see for yourself.

An Ideal Place to Stop By!

The Helton Brewing Company is good on a weekend. If you need a release after a busy workday. Anyone is welcome including chefs, sommeliers, local restaurateurs, foodies, novice, as well as experienced craft beer lovers to go there.

The brewery have as many as 7 beers on tap. The three of which may include local brews, such as the flagship brew known as Scottish Ale and canned varieties that change on a regular basis.

Other Helton brews is an award-winning German export lager made by the Pedal Haus, include Anderson Valley by Briney Melon Gose, Dortmunder. Which  located in Tempe, Wakatu Hops, Chinook Hops, and a black IPA named Street Cred.

What to See in the Menu?

A menu consisting of cured meats, grilled sandwiches, artisan cheeses, and waffles are also available is a carefully selected. The accompaniments are typically paired with Helton brews that can complement the flavors used. Which consist of local wildflower honey and sour cherry mostarda.

Customers are extremely involved in giving their opinions regarding the menu items and the brews on hand.

The brewery encourages customers to create their own boards of meat and other accompaniments.

Customers are allowed to leave tasting notes on take away items as well. That helps them start a conversation between clients and the management.
